WHAT IS CELEBRATE RECOVERY?
Tue, Jul 1 2008 08:38
Celebrate Recovery was born at the Saddle Back church in the U.S.A.
It is a Christ centered 12 step umbrella program for all of life's hurts, hang-ups and habbits.
At Celebrate Recovery our volunteers (all of whom are in recovery themselves) will lead participants through the 12 steps based on the 8 principles found in the beatitudes.
There is no judgement at C.R. because we are all as sick as our sins.
Our participants will be nurtured and guided through weekly meetings that can turn your life around.
All our open share groups are safe.
They are gender specific and relate to many different issues.
Some of the issues dealt with are,
Life's issues.
Alcohol and drug dependent.
Co-dependence
Eating dissorder.
Gambling.
Sex addiction.
Love addiction.
Survivors of abuse.
Partners of Addicted people.
Grief.
and many more.
All our newcomers are welcomed in via the Newcomers 101 group and our leaders are qualified to guide you into the group that best suits you.
Our leaders have all signed a covenant to protect your confidentiality and privacy.
Our aim is to provide a sanctuary where you can be healed and assisted back to a normal and fulfilling life.
You don't have to be a Christian and if you are we don't care which denomination you call your faith.
None of our participants will be urged or encouraged to join any specific church.
These are all issues for you when you feel better and are on the road to recovery.
Your better life is only a few steps away.
If you are reading this then you have already taken the first vital step in recognising that you have a problem.
Take the next step and join us at the sanctuary every Sunday at 5pm.
See this site for venue details.
Recovery is only a few steps away.
